Dining tables endure daily heavy use, moisture, hot dishes, and food spills (such as wine, coffee, and grease). Our high-durability matte polyurethane lacquer provides maximum surface protection without requiring routine re-oiling, all while preserving the timber's natural, silky tactile warmth without artificial gloss.

How does a standard oak table differ from smoked oak (Swiss table)?

Fuming (smoking) is an organic timber treatment process in which the wood's natural tannins react in a controlled environment, resulting in a deep, noble dark tone throughout the entire cross-section of the solid wood, rather than just the surface. Unlike stained wood, smoked oak retains its rich color even if deeply scratched.

Can tables be customized by dimensions and leg design?

Yes, every single table we craft is built to order. You can freely specify length, width, and thickness, as well as select metal base geometries and custom powder coat colors from the RAL palette to complement your room layout.

What is the optimal table size for 8, 12, and 16 persons?

Comfortable seating requires approximately 60–70 cm of width per person. For 8 persons, the recommended standard length is 2.0–2.4 m; for 12 persons, approximately 3.0–3.4 m; while a 16-person table requires 4.0–4.5 meters with added width (110–120 cm) to allow seating at both table ends.
